Your production.
More than one format.

Vitium Hybrid brings whole slabs, fabricated countertops, cut-to-size elements and small samples into the same system's application range. Plan the format around the product you want to create.

01 / Slab scale

Whole slabs.

Create a marble-inspired pattern, colour direction or custom graphic across a complete compatible mineral slab.

02 / Fabricated pieces

Finished tops.

Print the piece after fabrication, planning the design across compatible edges, cut-outs and integrated elements.

03 / Project dimensions

Cut-to-size elements.

Develop the visual identity of individual components to suit the project's dimensions, layout and design brief.

04 / Design selection

Samples & displays.

Bring the selected base, graphic and finish into a physical sample that your customer can review.

Format illustrations are schematic. Working sizes, thicknesses and piece geometry are confirmed for your Hybrid configuration.

Printing fabricated countertops

Think beyond
the flat surface.

For fabricated pieces, start with the geometry. Cut, shape and prepare the compatible white base, then plan how the design meets the top, visible edges and integrated details.

Full slab printing and finished-piece printing serve different project needs. Discuss the intended sequence, fabrication details and visual result with the Vitium team.

One Vitium technology

Choose the format.
Create its identity.

Vitium uses vacuum sublimation and thermal transfer to bring a printed graphic into a compatible surface. Material preparation and the production setup are defined around the work.

  1. A fabricated white countertop prepared on the Vitium production table.
    01

    Prepare your base.

Confirm the material, format, surface preparation and fabrication sequence for the intended product.

  2. A vein design printed on the temporary transfer carrier.
    02

    Prepare your graphic.

Develop the artwork, scale and placement, then produce the temporary carrier through the calibrated printing workflow.

  3. A printed mineral top and its worked edge after the Vitium transfer process.
    03

    Transfer & finish.

Run the specified vacuum thermal transfer cycle, remove the carrier, then complete finishing and inspection.

Original photographs illustrate the Vitium process. The workflow is assessed for the selected base and format.

Silica-free mineral bases

Your starting material.
Your design direction.

Our selected silica-free mineral bases are made primarily from recycled glass and polyester resin, with less than 1% crystalline silica.

Confirm the exact material reference, finish and documentation with the team. The crystalline silica specification belongs to the selected base; printing gives it its visual identity.

Vitium Star or Vitium Hybrid?

Choose around
the work you make.

Both systems use Original Vitium Technology. The starting point is your product mix: fabricated pieces, or a combination of fabricated pieces and whole slabs.

Your production.
Your questions.

What is the difference between Vitium Star and Hybrid?

Star focuses on fabricated pieces, including countertops, cut-outs and integrated details. Hybrid also supports large, complete slabs, alongside fabricated pieces, cut-to-size elements and samples. Start with the product mix you want to produce.

Does Hybrid print before or after fabrication?

Hybrid supports printing whole slabs and printing pieces that have already been fabricated. Choose the sequence around the product, visible edges and graphic placement. Discuss the intended fabrication and finishing details with the team.

Which mineral surfaces can Hybrid print?

Compatibility is evaluated for the exact base and finish. Our selected silica-free mineral bases are made primarily from recycled glass and polyester resin, with less than 1% crystalline silica. Ceramic, porcelain and sintered stone are outside the current commercially approved range.

What slab sizes, thicknesses and output can I plan for?

Share your required formats, thicknesses, materials and product mix. The team confirms the working envelope and appropriate production setup in the technical offer. Output depends on the material, cycle, graphic preparation and handling workflow.

What space and electrical supply are required?

The full layout depends on the selected configuration, auxiliary equipment, material handling and operating clearances. Electrical requirements must be confirmed for the destination and machine order before site preparation.

Does a film remain on the finished surface?

The printed carrier is temporary and is removed after the transfer cycle. The design is transferred into the compatible surface, followed by the specified finishing steps.
